🤔 What Can I Edit in the Hub Navigation?
Organizing your Advocacy Hub navigation helps your advocates find relevant content faster. You can customize the Advocacy Hub top navigation bar, its footer, and enable a member login button for advocates who need to access members-only content.
📍 Where Do I Find Navigation Settings?
Log into your AdvocacyAI account, go to the Hub section, and select Navigation.
From this page you can manage:
- The Hub top navigation bar and its links
- The Hub footer and its links
- Styling for both the navigation and footer
- A member login button for gated content
🔝 Customizing the Top Navigation Bar
Choose Your Logo
Select which logo appears in your Hub's top navigation by choosing from the available options in the logo drop-down. To add more logos, go to Account Settings and navigate to the Brand section.
Add Navigation Items
Click Add Navigation Item to create a new link in your top navigation bar.
For each item, you'll need to provide:
- A title: the label displayed in the navigation bar
- A URL: the destination when an advocate clicks the link
- A tab preference: choose whether the link opens in the same tab or a new tab
Add Drop-Down Items
Each navigation item can contain multiple sub-links organized in a drop-down menu. Drop-down menus are a great way to group related pages together under a single navigation label.
To add a drop-down, click Add Drop-Down Item next to the navigation item. Similarly to navigation items, you’ll need to add a title, URL, and choose your tab preference.
Reorder Navigation Items
You can adjust the order of your navigation items at any time using the directional arrows next to each item. To remove an item, click the trash icon beside it.
Delete Navigation Items
To remove an item, click the trash icon beside it.
⬇️ Editing the Hub Footer
Choose Your Footer Logo
Click the logo drop-down in the footer section to select which logo is displayed at the bottom of your Hub. Additional logos can be added in Account Settings under Brand.
Disclaimer and Privacy Policy
Your account disclaimer and privacy policy text can be edited directly in your Account Settings. Once updated there, they will automatically reflect in your Hub footer.
Add Footer Links
To include additional links in your footer, click Add Footer Link, give the link a name, and enter the destination URL.
🎨 Styling the Navigation and Footer
Use the Navigation Styling and Footer Styling sections to customize the look of each area. You can adjust:
- Background colors for the navigation bar and footer
- Text colors for links and labels
- Padding for the header and footer to control spacing
🔐 Enabling the Member Login Button
If your Hub includes members-only pages, you can enable a member login button to make it easy for advocates to sign in and access gated content. Toggle this option on in the Navigation settings page.
