Build one customizable page of your key points that personalizes itself for every office. Your advocate can pull it up in meetings or leave it behind as a shareable website.
🏛️ What Is a District Page?
A District Page is a polished web page of your delegation's message: who you are, what you're asking for, and how to follow up. You build one page per fly-in, and it automatically personalizes for each office you're meeting, so a staffer sees their own representative's name and district right at the top. It's perfect as a:
- Meeting aid, so advocates can pull it up on a screen while they talk
- Digital leave-behind, share a personalized link so the office can revisit your ask
Because it fills in per office, one page covers your whole fly-in and there’s no need to build a separate page for each representative.
Your District Page starts as a Draft that only you can see. It goes live for anyone with the link once you Publish it.
⚙️ Let's Build Your District Page
Make sure you are logged in to your AdvocacyAI account. On the navigation bar, locate the “Events” section and click on the “Fly-Ins” tab to search for your fly-in.
Once you’ve selected your fly in, stay in Overview tab and find the District Page card.

#1 Open the Builder
Build District Page: Click this button on the District Page card to open the builder.
Edit District Page: Click this button to edit an existing District Page.
#2 Pick or Create a Template
Your District Page uses a reusable template for its design (the colors, fonts, and layout) that is entirely customizable for your organization.
To create a new template, go to your navigation bar and locate the “Design section”. In the from the Design section

- Choose a template…: Pick your design from this dropdown at the top of the builder.
- No templates yet? You'll see "Design a District Page template first." Click "Design a Template" to create one in Page Templates, then come back and select it here.
The template is just the look. You'll add your own words in the next step, and you can switch templates later without losing your place.
#3 Fill In Your Content
Once a template is selected, your page appears ready to edit. As the hint at the top says, "Click any heading or text to edit · variables fill per office."
- Edit in place: Click any heading or text block to type your own content — your ask, why it matters locally, and your contact info.
- Insert Variable: Use the Insert Variable option in the editor to drop in details that fill in per office — like [[Representative]], [[Title]], [[District]], [[State]], [[Chamber]], and [[Party]] (plus any custom columns from your district data). They show as blue pills while editing and become the real rep's details when a staffer opens their office's page.
- Preview by device: Use the Desktop / Tablet / Mobile toggle to check how your page looks on each screen size.
#4 Save Your Work or Publish
Click the "Save" button (top right) as you go. You'll see a "District page saved.” message to confirm. When your page is ready to share, click the "Publish" button. You'll be asked to confirm and will get a confirmation message once it’s published.
Need to take it back down? Click "Unpublish" any time. The page will return a “404” message for visitors and the link will stop working until you it publish again.
Once published, this button appears and you can click it to open your live page in a new tab.

🎯 District Reference Data
Your advocate’s talking points get stronger with data that is specific to the elected official’s district. Upload reference data to your fly-in to use custom, district-specific data points in your district page.
Learn how to upload Reference Data in this guide on How to Add Office Talking Points.
🔗 Sharing Personalized Links
Here's the magic: each office gets its own version of the page, filled in with that representative's details. Once your page is published, you can grab those personalized links a few ways.
From the Offices tab, each office row gives you:

- District link: Click to copy that office's personalized URL to your clipboard (it flips to "Copied!" for a moment). Hand it over as a digital leave-behind.
- Open: Opens that office's personalized page in a new tab so you can preview it.
On attendee itineraries, anyone meeting an office sees an "Open the district page" link — described as "A shareable leave-behind of your key points for this office" — so your advocates always have it on hand.

These per-office buttons only appear once your District Page is published. Until then, you'll see a reminder on the Offices tab: "Publish your District Page to share a personalized link with each office."
❓ FAQs
Do I build a separate page for each representative?
No, you build one District Page for the whole fly-in. It personalizes automatically for each office using variables like [[Representative]] and [[District]], so every office gets its own filled-in version from the single page you built.
Why don't I see the "District link" buttons on my offices?
Those appear only after you publish the page. Until then, the Offices tab shows a reminder to "Publish your District Page to share a personalized link with each office." Open the builder and click "Publish."
What's a template, and why do I need one?
The template is the reusable design (featuring colors, fonts, and layout) that your page's content sits inside. If your account doesn't have a fly-in template yet, you'll be prompted to "Design a District Page template first" in Page Templates, then choose it in the builder.
What are the [[double-bracket]] variables?
They're placeholders that fill in per office when someone opens the page — [[Representative]], [[Title]], [[District]], [[State]], [[Chamber]], [[Party]], plus any custom district-data columns built from reference data. Insert them from the editor's Insert Variable option; open the generic link and they fall back to friendly defaults like "your representative."
Can I unpublish or make changes after publishing?
Yes! Edit and "Save" any time and your changes show on the live page automatically. To take the page offline, click "Unpublish"; the links return a 404 until you publish it again.
Who can see the page?
Once published, anyone with the link can view it (no login required, which is what makes it a great leave-behind). While it's a Draft, only you can see it in the builder.
