Welcome to your new account on AdvocacyAI! This guide serves as an overview of the system so you can easily navigate and understand the sections.
If you don’t see a section mentioned, reach out to us at help@advocacyai.com. You may need to upgrade your package to add it to your account, but we will be able to quickly determine that with a quick email.

Actions
The Actions tab is the section of the platform where you will create Campaigns (embeddable action forms and landing pages where supporters can take action). This will be a core workflow in the system. Any reference to methods of “contact” will be from your Advocates to an elected official or custom target decision maker. This section is where you will both build these campaigns and track their success with automated reporting dashboards.
Events
Events is the section where you can create embeddable forms and landing pages for supporters to RSVP to events (in person or online). The tools in this section are designed for you to track all event data in one place.
Fundraise
The Fundraise tab is the section of the platform where you can create Donation Pages to encourage supporters to donate to your cause.
Vote
The Vote section of the platform is where you can create embeddable forms and landing pages for your supporters to check their Voter Registration status. Supporters will see the status of their registration, their polling location, early voting and drop off information, who is on their ballot, and the location of their local election office. You can also enable calendar invitations and election reminders.
Activate
Activate is the section in the system where you will be contacting your Advocates. The tools in this section are designed for you to engage with your Advocates further to keep them aware of the Advocacy Campaigns or other Actions your organization may be taking. Any reference to “contact” is from your team, to your list of supporters that are opted-in to receive communications from you.
Through our activate tool, you can send outbound emails to supporters, set up email automations, and design Advocate Journeys to create custom workflows.
Advocates
Advocates is the section in the system where your person records, called Advocates, can be searched. This is where you can also further analyze the Audiences that are in your system to gain insight into your advocacy efforts.
Additionally, you will be able to create Tags and Custom Fields in this section and build audience segments through filters.
Targets
Targets are the elected officials that you are able to contact within AdvocacyAI. You will assign the Targets on the Campaign itself, but in this section you can see which Targets you have access to. You can gain further insights like the rate at which individual targets open your emails.
Additionally, you can create your own Custom Target for non-elected official or someone not in the AdvocacyAI tool. If you need to add more than one Custom Target, you can even upload them here.
Account
Account is the section where you select and store your Account’s settings. This includes any contact information for your organization, your design and branding elements, and your image library.
Additionally, you can add your Organization’s Context here, which will help the AdvocacyAI system better tailor its AI-generated messaging to fit the tone and content you want included. You can always edit the content generated, but spending some time on your Context to begin will save you time later!
This section also houses all of your Integrations within the system. This includes utilizing Meta Lead Ads and Google Tag Manager.
The Account section also is where you are able to review any Downloads or exports done in your system.
When you’re looking to get started in the system, you may need to utilize the Upload function to include any Advocates from previous systems.
Finally, your Advocacy Hub is setup and designed here. This is a landing page that you can create to look and feel like your website that includes multiple Campaigns you have ongoing in one easy place for Advocates.
