How can we help? 👋

Learn More About Member-Only Content

Learn more about gating content and managing access to your hub.

Your Advocacy Hub is an amazing place to share information with your advocates, but we understand some content needs to be private. AdvocacyAI lets you gate specific Hub elements so only approved members can view them, while keeping everything else publicly accessible.

🤔 What is Member-Only Content?

Member-only content is any Hub element you choose to restrict to approved members. Visitors who aren't logged in (or haven't been approved) won't be able to see it. You stay in full control of who gets access.

Member-only settings can be applied to elements on your main Hub page or on any sub-page within your Hub.

This is ideal for:

  • Internal resources, toolkits, or talking points for core advocates
  • Exclusive updates or announcements for your most engaged supporters
  • Member-based organizations who would like to keep their content private

🔐 How to Gate a Hub Element

Log into your AdvocacyAI account and navigate to the Hub section, then click on the Main Hub or Hub Pages.

Locate the Hub element you want to restrict and click the "Design and Settings" button. In the design menu, scroll to the bottom to find the Members-Only toggle. Turn the toggle on to restrict the content to approved members only.

If you ever need to make that content accessible to everyone again, simply toggle that switch off.
