🤔What is a Direct Action Button?
You can use a direct action button to let advocates take action on an Email or Petition campaign directly from their inbox with a single click.
When the advocate clicks on the take action button, their email or petition will be submitted automatically by AdvocacyAI.
📧 How to Use a Direct Action Button
Create an Email or Petition action (learn more about actions here).
Next, create an email activation (learn how to do so here).
Within your activation, scroll down to the content section and select the Direct Action card. In the Direct Action card, select the campaign (Email or Petition) that you want to embed into the email.
Test and send the activation email to your advocates.
👥 How Will Advocates Use the Direct Action Card?
When an advocate uses a Direct Action, they will be redirected to your campaign landing page. Their information will be auto-filled on the form so they can take action right away.
The advocate’s information will be added to your action’s analytics page. The email activation will also measure an “Action Rate”, which will let you know how many advocates took action as a result of that email.
